I purchased this to hang in my master closet. Closet is approximately 6'X8'. The Chandelier is very pretty and the perfect brightness and size for a medium sized closet. 5 stars for the light itself.
Installation would get 3 stars. My husband installed the fixture. (He's not a novice at this but he's also not an electrician so somewhere in the middle). Installation was a little tricky for several different reasons. Feeding the wires through the very skinny tube was very difficult. We finally switched that out with a part from the fixture that we took down. The most difficulty came when trying to attach the dome plate flush to the ceiling. (The piece that hides where the wires go into the ceiling.)
Overall I would purchase this again and make sure that we installed it while the husband is in a really good mood :)

I'm redoing my office and going for a "bo-Ho chic" design. As it's a rental space, I wanted to put removable items in and not hard-wired items.
I purchased this lamp as a swag. Heads-up: it is lovely, but very heavy for such a compact, little design!
I removed a good portion of the chain to lessen the weight as I'm hanging it from a drop ceiling.

We love to eat in our kitchen together (dad & I and our 3 young sons ages 5 to 10yrs) We have a very tropical romantic style of dinning In!
We have lite palm trees & candles on during our nightly suppers and We got this tiny elegant chandelier to hang over our goregous table...
It even came with (3) 25 watt candlearbra style bulbs...
However I or we hate bright or harsh lights on during or meals.... So
we replaced the bulbs with (3) lower watt bulbs & WOW WHAT A SIMPLE
ELEGANCE THIS little light has made for us! You cant believe how pretty
or striking this little light is with lower wattage colored bulbs either
we tryed yellow/amber & green (xmas bulbs 5-7 watts)& loved
the effect totally... EATING HOME IS LIKE BEING IN A FAVORITE MAGICAL
RESTAURANT WITHOUT THE HIGH PRICES OR LEAVING A TIP!
Plus this sells for $20.00 more else where PLUS S&H.... We are gonna
buy a 2nd one to use with the 25 Watt bulbs & Dimmer switch
in one of our hallways off the kitchen so they will match!
The box it came in shows that it also comes in pink or lavendar or white as well & YES it is a SWAG & can be hardware included attached directly onto the ceiling If U would want to have it installed that way!

Bought the pink one for 3yo girls room. Cord has lead warning but I hardwired this anyways. To hardwire you must cut the power cord then strip both sides of the separated wires within the cord, wire nut those to white and black in the fixture, long wire is a grounding wire that wraps around the green bolt in the hardware plate. Thats about it.
As for the look, some questions ask if its appropriate for adults. If you are asking, then you care, so know that it may pass some adult judgments but some WILL notice the plastic strands holding the plastic crystals and that you didn't spend much. So if you're afraid, then don't get it because if I saw this in your home, I'd know. May not mention it, but I'd know ;). Easy way to decide is ask yourself if you like Ikea or not.

It isn't as easy to hardwire as we thought.
The whole thing is adorable and we love it now that it is installed. We are not super handy DIYers, so this took a LOT of YouTube handy videos and Google searching for information on what to do. The effort payed off and the thing is up. Just be aware that it is not a simple hardwire job.
Also pay attention to the angle the chandelier hangs from where you stand in the doorway. After all the effort to hang it, we stepped back to admire it. Because it has 3 arms, if it isn't lined up well, it will look odd as you admire it from the hallway. Since this is where most people will stand as they see it, we made sure it hangs exactly like it is pictured with one arm facing directly to the doorway.
