Quality tool.

Many people dislike the blade that comes with it. It's replacable. Blades are cheap and meant to be replaced often and should not be considered while reviewing this tool.
Easy to adjust tension on the blade and super easy to change the blade. That's the only thing that should really matter.

Best coping saw I've ever owned. Sturdy -- which seems weird for such a light saw -- but it is. I like that the handle doesn't rotate too easily, but rather provides a lot of control. I cope most of my molding thanks to the age of my home, and this is a winner. It already feels like one of those tools that will be in my toolbox for a long time.

Excellent quality saw, German made with high tension, easy to rotate ( especially with a little stainless door-stick on the bearing parts ), and very substantially designed - a far cry above the big box stuff. The German saws offered by several outlets look alike except for handle color - maybe from the same maker.

My husbands older coping saw began a rapid decline in performance recently. After a particularly hard trim job, I began searching Amazon for a suitable replacement. I read many reviews and researched many coping saws before deciding that this one would work. This coping saw is heads and shoulders above his older saw. Granted the older one is a cheapy homeowner grade saw from a big box store. This saw has a beautiful, perfectly shaped wooden handle. The saw itself feels like it will be so much more sturdy and durable than his older saw. He owns several Larson brand tools and is always happy with them. The company seems to take pride in the construction and quality of the items offered for sale. My husband is very happy with this saw and Larson in general. This company will be a go to from now on. Thank you for offering quality products!

I've been frustrated with my Kobalt coping saw forever. Changing a blade always seemed like a three handed job. I ordered this hoping it was coping saw perfection.
The one I received had a blade pin that wasn't fully inserted. A few whacks with a hammer fixed it. Other than that my only complaint is that I still have to fight the frame tension to screw the handle back on after a blade change. Just a little, it's not bad, but another 1/4" of thread on that handle bolt and you'd never have to fight with it again.
For the price I'm happy though.
