Love this tool. Use very sharp pencil come in at a angle to get lines perfect. Practice on Penny's. Cheap. Did ten or so then used a small punch mark center. Took few tries it will getter done
Keep a sharp pencil or marking knife handy. Also, band-aids.

It works beautifully, though it would have been better to make the 60 and 90-degree vees a little taller to support more of the sides of the work while marking. As it is, the finder can get a little wobbly on smaller pieces, which is a bit of a problem when you're using a marking knife.

I looked everywhere for a center finder, Lowe's, Home Depot, Harbor Freight.... Everywhere I asked didn't even know what it was. The guy at Lowe's looked it up online"‹ and was surprised that that's what it was called. Works great. I use it for lathing and lamp making (finding center of the bottom of bottles)
