Power Steering Return Hose:
4-foot long of hose: inside diameter is 9.65mm, outside diameter is 5/8"

Replaced the short portion of damaged return hose around 6.5" in length from gear's tube to tube:
good fitment, inside diameter is 9.65mm of the hose perfectly fits the tube.
The best

Good replacement for Toyota Power Steering system return hose
SKRS✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 18, 2023
After replacing all of my power steering components on my 02 Tacoma V6, I realized that the return hoses were also in need to replacement (evidence of leaks from hardlines to hoses). Instead of replacing all the lines (hardlines + hoses) I opted to just replace the hoses of the return line. The high pressure line was ok.

It turns out that this hose is a good match size wise (inner diameter was 3/8") and as you can see from the photo, the OD was also close. More importantly, the inner and outer materials were the same. What you'll notice is that the OEM factory Toyota hose calls out a Nitrile inside and Neoprene outside and this hose is the same. In addition this hose meets SAE J2502 power steering hose standard.

After installing it on my truck, I haven't seen any initial leaks that would lead me to believe that this was the wrong hose to use.
