Good muffler...didn't give my car as much of that 'sound' as I would have liked but it did make it sound a little meaner (I even add resonating tips, which may have helped a little). Will have to save up & buy a different model Thrush or different brand altogether to get more of the rumble sound. One thing I will clarify (for others before they purchase it & other pieces to install)...it is a 2-1/2" inside diameter (not outside diameter). I didn't make sure of that when purchasing (by googling it) & was forced to run to a local store to buy the additional parts to install (since I had already buzzed off my factory mufflers). Other than that, it was an easy intall - just get some clamps, light it up & tighten up.

I wasn't sure about this muffler because it's not an everyday name. When I installed it I was extremely impressed with the sound. I have not been on the highway yet to test it but around town it sounds great. It has a nice rumble to it , it isn't
The loud turn heads sound , which I didn't want.
If it wears or rust out I will buy one again

Item replaced my American Thunder which was rusted out. I like the way this thing is built! Arrived safely and quickly. Installed them in my garage after a little bit of a struggle cutting and clamping but got them welded up at the muffler shop. It did quiet down my Mustang (which is what I was looking for) but still has a throaty sound when pedal is down. I can now hear my stereo unit.

Exactly as described. Nice sound and not too loud.
