Medicine for a dying breed of transmissions...

Replaced the clutch master & slave cylinder 14 months ago, and of course, it starts leaking again, with only a 12-month warranty. That's how life works, isn't it? The leak is slow enough that I've only used 1/2 a bottle in a month, so if it doesn't get worse I'll just fill it up every couple of weeks with this stuff. Supposedly you can use mineral oil instead but I would suggest the real thing like this fluid. It's not expensive. Most auto parts stores don't even carry it anymore since 91% of all autos are automatics now. As far as transmission fluid is concerned, it's kind of the same as clutch fluid: the reservoir being filled up to the top is more important than the type you choose. If both are full with fluid, it should shift well, period. And it does. 247,000 miles on a 3000GT VR-4, on 2nd transmission, 4th clutch. Recommend you always keep the clutch stock on any auto unless you are tracking it or have like 500+ hp with mods. I could not find any other "real" clutch fluid besides Gunk, so this is it, basically. Works fine.
