Lets face it, it's not an easy task to change or add gear oil to your manual transmission or other gear boxes, but with this rather inexpensive little pump life just became a little easier. Simply screw the pump directly onto your choice of gear lube and begin pumping.
Not only can you fill your gear boxes with the lube of your choice, you will save alot of money by doing it yourself. The local lubricators where I live charge around $10.00 per quart to do a gear oil change, and thats for the generic brand of lube. And if your transmission, differential, or transfer case doesn't have a drain plug and they have to pump out the used lube the cost starts spiraling upwards really fast.
Oh yeah, did I mention how you can do this normally messy chore without hardly spilling a drop of this nasty smelling lubricant? For all the positive things I mentioned about this STA LUBE FLUID OIL PUMP their is one small thing that would improve it, and that is providing a longer hose. I bought several feet of the clear poly hose from my local hardware store. Now I can pump the lube without laying under the vehicle.

Works for wide mouth Amsoil Quart bottles

Works perfectly on Amsoil quart bottles of gear oil. Pumps faster than the average hand pump, but that is likely due to it being for a gallon jug. I recommend making sure the plastic tube is firmly attached to the spout(or use a clamp). Mine came off once during my six quarts worth of dif/t-case fluid change. It's all good though because 75W-110 tastes OK and it is good for your skin ;).

I received this pump in a timely manner and have been very impressed with it. It does exactly what it says it will do. It screws right onto the jug and when it's pumped it doesn't leak.
