These are not nearly as consistent as I'd like. Some cartridges give a strong dark blue, others give just a weak tint. I get the same thing with cartridges purchased from local brick&mortar too, so it isn't an Amazon or counterfeit problem.
The bleach variety does a MUCH better job of self-cleaning than the blue ones, but you need to use your nose to figure out when it has gone empty.

Good cleaning tablets. I get the perception that maybe there is some disenfecting going on in my toilet bowl along with some cleaning. We all know how "icky" toilet bowls are so they can use all the help they can get. Also, the tablets are easy to replace in their dispenser. I wish they might last longer but then again that all depends how often you flush your toilet. All in all a pretty decent product.

I had tried the generic refill tablets, but no matter how I try to adjust the refill, the chlorine smell was just too much. The original Fluidmaster brand refills deliver just the right amount of chlorine and last for months.
For us, with 4 toilets in our home, this system is the best for keeping the bowl clean. I was disappointed to find that our local hardware stores and home centers had stopped carrying the replacement cartridges and then very pleased to find them on Amazon.

These are awesome. I had been buying these at Home Depot, but purchasing through Amazon saves me a trip and the price was the same or slightly lower. With Prime, I got free shipping. To me this is a no-brainer to order from Amazon. Also, I highly recommend this toilet cleaning system. Have had it installed in all my toilets for about 1 year now and very pleased with the way it works. Also, it says each cartridge should last about 3 months, but I push it as long as I can and usually get about 4 -5 months out of it. Once the system is installed, the cartridges just pop in and out when needed.

I got one with the unit and have not changes out with these yet. Give it a few more weeks then I will put one of the new ones in. They work great. The toilet bowl is clean without having to curb it any more. I will start using these new bleach filters in the beginning of January 2017 when this last one will need to be replaced.
