So i bouught 2 pair of these buffalo gloves. They arrived in seperate zip lock bags that had a stickere on the outside of the bag that reads "made in USA"
I took the gloves out of bag and nowhere on the gloves is a burnt stamp (like the Buffalo logo in photos) or sewn tag that reads "made in usa"
My jeans, shirts, and shoes have a usa made tag.
Makes me suspect a foreign repack. People that buy/make in USA are so darn proud when people can see the made in USA tag. It is validating.
Makes me question the authenticity.
Yes i im now buying my 3rd pair.

Great work gloves

I really like the elkskin glove they make. I've tried all the other types of gloves on the farm and none of them even compare to elkskin (not deer skin) gloves. They would last 3 to 6 months where almost any other glove made of any other material would fail at half that time or less.

Bought these to see if they would provide greater durability than cowhide gloves, and so far so good. I want to be clear, they are NOT comfortable the first few times you use them, they are much stiffer to start than cowhide and can actually hurt parts of your hands when using them. However, once they break in, they're every bit as good as cowhide. I've used them in the garden, on auto repairs, wood working projects and they haven't shown any signs of failure since I purchased them. Clearly, all gloves put through this kind of abuse will eventually fail, however these are certainly worth the price paid for them given the amount of abuse they can take.
Update: These gloves are amazing. Typically, leather gloves last a season of work before they start getting holes in the fingers, primarily because I wear them in all kinds of weather. These gloves, having been used all season long in the garden, working on my cars and for all the carpentry needs I have around the house are still going strong. Doesn't seem to matter if they get wet or not, they have not had one failure in the time I've owned them. Highly recommended.

I bought these to use as work gloves. They are so nice I've decided to keep them as driving gloves. Not special or with a wow factor, but a very supple and strong leather that has a good look to it that I don't want to ruin. I have some cheaper gloves for that which I will continue to use for rough work.
