Did the job, but overpriced and not all that durable
Amazon Customer•January 29, 2018
This product did not come with any instructions at all, and the only thing I could find online was a barely view-able video that did not go into a lot of detail anyway. It took me a while to figure out how it went together etc. It did do the job. I was able to insert some Nylon fuel line onto a steel fuel line with a barbed end, and also a dorman quick disconnect on the other end. I tried many times to do this by hand and using other tricks I saw online to no avail. That being said, I think it is overpriced and may not hold up to a lot of use such as in a service shop. The cover popped off the "gun" the first time I used it and I think the threads in the blocks will get wallowed out pretty quickly.
Update: My suspicions were correct, upon the second attempt at using this tool the handle on the "gun" broke off in my hand. I am going to have to try and get a warranty replacement.

Expensive for a tool I won't use much, but needed for the job.

Good tool for fixing plastic fuel lines. I had to replace a faulty connector at the fuel pump end of a line. After struggling with locating odd parts (3/8" fuel pump 5/16" fuel line w/90 degree fitting). I was able to assemble a 3/8" 90 deg. connector to the 5/16" line using this tool and a 3/8" to 5/16" reduction union. Still had some problems until I used some lube on the connections (silicone grease). There is no manual or instructions for the tool, only a low res video on YouTube (Dorman please put up a high res video!!!).

It would have earned five star had it come with instructions. It makes adapting nylon tubing easier.
it is a good value and gets the job done

This tool really helped with the fuel lines on my classic vehicle project. While not the nicest tool, it is a good value and gets the job done. The clamp block grips the plastic line with no slippage issues. A higher $$ model may be able to hold the quick connectors in better alignment, but it still works.
