Was sad to see the normal, bullion cubes were out of stock in several locations. I read that they had an error on some labels and had to reformat. So decided to order this to use, as this brand is our ONLY and Favorite bullion. VERY happy! Works great, same flavor and actually more economical packaging and we can just scoop out what we need. Wonderful flavor, adds depth to whatever recipe we try. It would be nice if it were perhaps a tad less salty (and I say this as someone who adds salt to almost everything), but only because I'd sometimes like to add more of the flavoring without increasing the saltiness of the dish. We buy this in bulk because we go through it so quickly.

As a vegan for the past 50 years, I have tried every vegan broth on the market and feel that this product of Switzerland is simply the best vegan broth available. I have used it for 10-12 years after first discovering it at Whole Foods. I prefer this jarred version as the powdered broth dissolves more easily and you can better control the amount of broth to use in each recipe. Outstanding flavor. It is fairly high in sodium but I don't find this to be an issue as I don't add any additional salt. The brown jar has a wide opening to insert a measuring spoon and has a good sealing lid. Highly recommended.
