Was well packaged for shipping. Works so far.

I am kind of disappointed. I didn't expect a whole lot for four bucks but this thing is pretty low quality. The gauge is just a piece of paper wrapped around the core and glued closed. On the bottom of mine the glue didn't adhere correctly and it is coming apart. It doesn't really affect the ability to measure but it is annoying.
Perfect

I am just learning to use this, and it's great
Not as described or pictured
Justyn W.•May 28, 2016
I ordered this one as a backup to the one I have now; however, it was not as described or pictured; however, it was too inexpensive to hassle with a return. It has a "bulb" on the bottom of it whereas the picture shows a rounded bottom. The bulb looks rather fragile and would, in my opinion, likely break.
Also, this unit came in a round plastic tube, not a square one as I would have prefered.

Be aware the one you receive may not look like the one pictured

Be aware the one you receive may not look like the one pictured. The one I got has a pointed end (which I don't like and that is why I ordered this one hoping to get a round one). The paper scale also doesn't look secured in there like others I have bought. The scale on this one is also off by 0.002, but so is my other one. This one reads .998 in DI and tap water at 70 degrees. My other one reads 1.002 at 70 degrees, so who knows. It works fine, the readings, when adjusted, are the exact same as my other one. It's a spare, because these things break. Just a part of brewing beer
