No Need for Monster Brand

After hearing reviews of several off-brand cables, I decided to give this one a chance and I'm glad I did! No lines or hum interference as others have reported with various cables. The only issue I came across was the picture being displayed in black and white which was quickly corrected by modifying the settings on my Toshiba HDTV to use "colorstream HD" (your TV settings may say component or something similar). The audio cables are grouped together with a zipper, seperate from the video cables so you can better distinguish them, which was something I appreciated since I connect my Xbox audio to a Logitech 5.1 surround sound system.

As other reviews have noted, the cable is technically functional, but is poorly shielded (it lacks a magnetic ferrule, for starters). Using this cable (compared to my OEM composite cable) causes scrolling diagonal lines of alternating RGB tint, that are too distracting to be satisfactory.
The only other note I could make about them is that the console-side connector is also a bit more snug than the OEM connector.
I'll keep this as a backup in case something happens to my composite cable, but it was definitely a reduction in quality, not an improvement.

Enables HD for the Original Xbox

The component cables worked perfectly for my original Xbox. It was able to enable HD video. Make sure to switch it in the Xbox settings to enable HD. A star was knocked off because the cables are not of high quality. Feels light and flimsy but does the job.
Far better then I was expecting them to be.

I was skeptical as hell about these cables. So my expectations on a scale of 1 - 10 was about a 2. But I took the gamble on these anyway before I dropped the money on official MS ones. So far id give them about an 8 out of 10.
Picture quality looks way way better then with the stock composite video cables. The only thing that prevents this from getting all 5 stars in my book is there is an ever so slight hum in the audio. Really I only notice it on my dashboard or when no in game audio playing at all. Since we are dealing with analog your mileage may very from mine.

Original XBOX Component Cable

Found the old XBOX but had no video cables nor controllers. Ordered an A/V cable and controllers connected no picture.Did some research suggested buying the component cable XBOX stuck in wrong video mode. Ordered this cable made the connections and picture XBOX working fine.
