We love salads. These packets are great and cheaper than buying them one-at-a-time from the grocery.

This stuff is nice to have in your cupbard. Its easy to use in multiple ways, and not just in the traditional way of mixing it up for actual salad dressing. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Ranch is one of my favorite salad dressing flavors and what makes this nice is that you can mix as much or as little into the dressing, rather than just having a bottle of ranch dressing so what you get is what you get.

You can use this to flavor many other things and use as much or as little of the package as you like. Mix it with softened cream cheese to make a nice change for your bagels or with sour cream for dips. You can even make your own cheeseballs with it by mixing some (to taste) with softened butter and cream cheese, letting it harden slightly in the fridge, then roll it up into a ball. A slight sprinkling of more ranch on the cheeseball, maybe mixed with finely chopped red pepper or even some red pepper flakes if you like a bit more zest...and there you have a nice addition to a party.

My favorite, however, is mixing some of the ranch flavoring with melted butter and dipping bits of thawed bread dough into it, then placing the dough in a greased round cake pan and baking it. Great addition to any meal.

Really useful to have around the kitchen.

Easy to mix, instructions are clear, good taste. However, the instructions read that the mix could last for about 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator. I tried, but it won't last more than 4 to 5 days.

My other Australian friends cannot get Ranch dressing mix at their local store and so I usually bring a supply to them whenever I go waltzing over there. They absolutely love the stuff from their long sojourn in the US.
