A very solid stand.

Works perfectly with my Mack Brass CC tuba. I can also use it for my euphonium, although it's not so necessary for the smaller instrument. Very sturdy and solid. Only complaint is that the thin foam pad tends to work its way loose.

Securely holds my 1959 Reynolds Contempora tuba, which is fairly large. The bell front does not seem to throw the stand off-balance at all, and everything feels very stable, even with rambunctious cats crashing into things occasionally.
Just what I needed

Solid built to hold the instrument. Easy to set up and use. Adjustable and compact.

First off, this IS NOT a stand for use while playing the tuba. Some have used it for that, but if you want a playing stand, then Hercules DS553B DS552B Tub Acoustic/Electric Euphonium Instrument Stand is the stand you would want for use while playing (I have two and they're great!). The
Now for this stand (the DS552B)...
This stand is for holding/displaying the tuba while it is not in use. This stand works great. The only negative is that if you aren't careful in placing your larger tubas into the stand, then there is a chance you might scratch the finish of the horn. Other than that, it is great! I own four of these: one for my 6/4 C, my 4/4 F, my euphonium, and a spare that used to hold my 6/4 F. I use these as I do not like to leave my horns on their bell for an extended period of time. Plus, it keeps my cats away from my horns without needing to be put them away!
