I really enjoy this little house and so do 3 out of 4 cats. The instructions were easy to understand but it was way too easy to accidentally splinter the wood while assembling it. Other than that though it held up pretty well. I made sure the spot I picked for it in under the eaves of the house so unless it rains sideways (not likely in CA) he should be fine. The cat I bought it for lives outside and I wanted to give him a nice little space to curl up in besides the corner of the garage he's claimed. So far he's puked in it but I can't tell that he's spent any more time in it than that. The other cats however, they couldn't wait for it to be assembled. They were crawling all over it before construction was completed.

This is an adorable little dog house! Its perfect for little pets under 10-12 pounds, the smaller the better. I bought this for my Yorkie and she plays on it all day and hides her toys inside, sits on top to watch her humans, looks out the window, brings her dog treats up to snack. I painted the trim white to give it a beach house look and put her initial on it. The stairs are a little narrow, so I put some anti-slip padding on them (the padding used inside kitchen cabinets). It took a few tries and some dog treats to train my little one how to use the stairs and the anti-slip padding helped her get up and down more easily. Now she zooms up and down without a problem. Its small enough to put indoors, but would probably work just as well outdoors. Its made from cedar and has a pleasant smell. If its to be used outdoors I would recommend some weather protectant for the wood.
My only complaint is that the shipping was a day late and I ordered it amazon prime two day.

Our little pup loves her house....and so does everyone who sees it! It was very easy to assemble and sits in our living room. We fashioned a "gate" on the front and did a couple of other modifications to use in place of a crate.

My Doxie loves his Christmas present!!! I ordered this for my Doxie for Christmas and he loves it!!! It was very easy to assemble. Everything was labeled with clear step by step instructions. I had it put together in a half hour. I did not attach the steps due to my dog would not be able to use them. I ordered the pet gear ramp with it. However I would recommend getting 2 steps instead of the ramp. My dog couldn't grip the ramp it was too slippery. I did modify it so I wouldn't have to return it and he's able to get up and down it without any problems! He loves to sunbathe this is perfect for him. And the bottom is plenty of room for him to hide all his toys from his sister ( French bulldog/beagle)!

Well I was really excited to receive this nice dog house! I had my doubts but I thought why not! It arrived in two days and as soon as I had a chance I started assembling this house myself everything was good until I noticed that one part wasn't exactly how the instructions shown so I thought I should returned it and get another one or just get a different one from another seller but I had to try and see if I could make the part to work so I used a kitchen knife to make two cuts on two corners ( it wasn't fun!!!) It was easy to assembled but it took me longer because I had to improvised to make it work when I paid for something that should it be in the conditions advertised. I didn't returned it because I don't have time to waste putting it back in the box, sending it back and wait for a response from the seller and wait for them to refund my money. SELLER PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ITEMS ARE IN THE CONDITIONS AS ADVERTISED.....and you'll get more HAPPY AND SATISFIED customers and not complaints.
