I was given a Flowerhouse greenhouse by friends several years ago. The climate being what it is here in Portland, Or. the greenhouse was great for my needs. Alas, the zippers gave out and so it was time to get a new one. While I could have spent a couple thousand on a "real" greenhouse, again I went with a Flowerhouse product. I did struggle "alone" to get it up, it would have been easy with two. However, I have already run into an issue with the zipper and the flap that is meant to protect it. The only solution.... after quite a struggle.... was to cut into the zipper cover to free it. But, never the less I do love it and for the price it's great. I do expect to have to replace it within a couple years as the zippers will always be a problem I think. For the back garden green thumb who doesn't want to spend a fortune it's just the ticket. It packs away in it's case and hangs in the garage until your seeds are popping up.

I gave this product 4 stars because it seems like a very good greenhouse, where I actually bought it to use as a small tool shed, but it was not as easy to put together as shown. It didn't just pop open and stay up. I had to prop it up with stuff so I could install the piping. I did this by myself and took a lot of struggling to keep it up. Other than that I think it will work well.

I've had this product for a year, two growing seasons. I imagine its longevity depends on where it is set up. In my case, that's a porch with decking that is accessible from an oversized window in my kitchen. Given that the greenhouse is in a very protected space, in the interior part of an L created by the exterior walls of the house itself, I don't see why it would not last a very, very long time.

In any event, it shows no wear whatever, and it has been handy to have. I have an old double washtub out there full of potting soil and a seed-starting mix, so all the dirt and dirtiness of planting seeds and transplanting plants gets left to be washed off the deck rather than mopped up in the house. Plus I can plug in a heater and grow lights if necessary. So for me, this greenhouse is ideal, especially given the absence of local carpenters who are willing to deal with the wondrous windows, vintage salvage from a private university library that was being remodeled, that a friend sold to me for next to nothing. Carpenters seem to want to use brand-new materials and to charge you a huge mark-up from retail for materials.

The greenhouse is a lot roomier than you might think. Mark off a 6x6 area in your home, and you'll see what I mean. I have the washtub and numerous flats and supplies in mine, and I haven't even bought shelving yet. I'm a serious gardener, and I'm amazed at what this space accommodates. I highly recommend the product, though again you need to consider location; mine is in a relatively protected area facing east and southeast, so high winds and blaring sun don't affect it much, and rain doesn't affect it at all. In such conditions, I imagine it will last far longer than the manufacturer predicts.

I really really love my small sun room. Save my fruit tree, veggitable and flowers in some cold winter time. My not-so-handy-man husband set it up by himself in no time '. The only problem we ran into was the ground soil of our back yard is not too deep. When we tried to pound the provided stakes into the ground, they hit the rock underneath and can not go all the way in. We ended up using the shorter stakes that we got from Home Depot. It survives several really windy days so far. The zippers around the doors seem to work pretty good. Zipping and unzipping are easy and smooth, except corners where you need to pay special attention on. Overall I am happy with this purchase and hope the quality can last for a long time.

Great design on the options of doors and windows. I also love the feature of screen door inside and solid plastic door outside. You can block some unwanted insects and animals while getting the good air flow inside. Something I did learn and would suggest to everyone is that make sure you unzip the solid plastic doors when the temperature is warmer during the sunny days to improve the air flow inside. Some of leaves on my plants were getting unhealthy when I have the doors completely shut for a couple of days. This good size green house looks so good that my 10 years old son is now begging me to get another one, as he is really envy my plants have their own play house and he doesn't. XD..

It did not even last a year. I used it as its purpose was sold for, and the plastic cracked and fell over destroying all of my plants. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product. I would not recommend this at all.
