Don't buy this cheap one
Doug bob•October 7, 2016
Doesn't look like advertised. And as another review mentioned it came with a bunch of gray dust and a plastic wrap shred inside, with poor quality machining (Crap spot welds, screw press off center, press allows grinds to squeeze up the sides). There's no slot to screw the press down like with any other filter of this kind. EDIT: changed my review to 2 stars and removed the comment about coarse grounds going through the holes. It does the job if used properly.
Great cheap tool

I used this to make the best cup of rich velvety coffee I ever had. It is simple, doesn't take up much space, but it also doesn't make a full cup of coffee. I would let that pass in sacrificing a bit of the quantity for the awesome quality it can deliver. My only reserve is that this broke way to early on for me to consider having it as a kitchen staple. It is also awkward making coffee for guests because it only makes about 3/4 of a cup of coffee at a time.

This little device makes a dynamite cup of coffee.
While not quick to make a cup (takes bout 5 min per cup). It is quick to clean up.
There are some really good vids on youtube on how to make proper Vietnamese coffee.
Note: My unit arrived covered in a oily residue from the manufacture process. Soap and water cleaned it right up.

Super Handy Coffee Press

I saw one of these in a Vienamese restaurant and decided I wanted one too. I love making coffee in it. I bought the special Vietnamese coffee, which is actually a blend of other ingredients, but mostly I have used this item as a mini french press for my regular brands of coffee. I have one of those instant hot water dispensers, so making coffee with this unit is super easy. It is a good quality of stainless steel and definitely worth the price.
like a pour over with filter

I've used various drip, Keurig, pour over, and French press brewing methods and just wanted to experiment with this Vietnamese method. It provides a flavorful small cup of coffee, like a pour over with filter. It's so small that you can take it while traveling.
