So what sold me on this set?.. Size, small /compact... in a soft case that won't break if dropped or smashed...in a common range of tool aps ...i bought this to use as a field tool kit for rifle /pistol shooting...gun kits are $100+ and are heavy duty gun smith tools... me I just need a quick fix o ra djustment ... the torx and allens are insufficient...I wlll supplement with a torx, allen wrench sets (Titan's are pretty good for the money) and some small punches... total cost under $40....And I will need a couple of wrenches unique to specific weapons but that an addon no mater what.
All this said It is exactly what I thought it would be and will do the job...The other 4 star reviews are pretty much right on, this is nothing too special and is very .limited to common small houshold size apps. The tape measure is a POS so get a better one (lowes often has cheap but decent samll TPMs in a specialty box up front) ...one guy below noted it could use a small hammer... keep an eye out for alowes cheapy.

I purchased these 6 months ago or so and I use them quite a bit. They are not as high quality as some tool sets but they do the job. I think that I would if deciding again go with a more advanced set than this particular one though they work well so no complaints. They are not as quality as other sets but better than others so I rated this 3 stars as a middle of the road tool set.

These tools are absolute crap. Avoid this toolset like the plague, I snapped the tiny philips in half upon first use trying to unscrew the back of a Taranis radio controller. The actual screw driver feels very cheap and is ready to snap, and the screw heads fall out because they greased the screw driver shaft. The needle nose pliers are the only item worth anything in this set and I bumped it up a star for that.

The tools are good but the box is little disappointing again: I have been struggling to find a well designed and convenient to use packaging/tools holder. They are either too loose and the content ends up a rattling mess inside the box or, like in this case: very tight and very difficult to get out, particularly the small pieces. When working you don't want to struggle to get the bits out - my fingers are not weak at all and still, often I had to use pliers to pull the bits out of their 'nests'. Is this really so difficult to get right?!..

I should have paid attention to the product dimensions before buying this, because it was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. The whole thing can fit in someone's cargo pants or a large pocket. Its about the size of a small (in terms of dimensions) but big (in terms of pages) book. The small thing is actually awesome though: it makes it perfect for putting in your glove box, on your desk in your office, or anywhere you think you might need it.

EVERYONE needs one of these things. You never know when you will need the tools, and buying each tool individually is very expensive. Buy one of these suckers and keep it on your desk for when you will need it. It will be a lifesaver one day!
