I have been using Standard Motor Products for decades now, starting when my first car used points in the ignition, and from what I can see they have not slacked up too much on their quality when compared to other manufacturers out there. Installation is kind of tricky on my Dodge Charger since it is located on the back side of the right side cylinder head. I made sure that the engine was completely cool, since you do need to work a bit to get the old one out.
Do your car a favor, and take the time to change this out to keep everything running properly.
