Great value for under $20.

Works as expected. The description is accurate - aluminum handle, frame and tubing. The red nylon bag feels a bit cheap, but does the job. One of the 1 star ratings vents about the spring clips at the bottom being hard and stiff. This is true. It took some pressure to push the ball thru and into the tube. But a 2 minute adjustment on the 3 clips and the balls go in much better. Again, this is under $20. Not a bad deal.

used this for the driving range short game area, was having back issues when bending over to retrieve balls, no longer after this product, I am able to use my own balls and retrieval is seemless with this product. Construction is decent and good value for the price.
Seems Adequate Value for Money

Before I bought this shag bag, I read all the negative reviews about it, and I have to say that I bought it with some reservation. But it is about half the price of the original shag bag, so I figured it was a worthy gamble. I'm glad I made it, because the bag has been fine so far (a few months of moderate--not heavy--use). Many of the more negative comments are accurate--the fabric is flimsy, for example, and the zipper is really cheesy. But knowing this, I just take care to handle the bag gently (I don't baby it, but I'm also not a person who is typically hard on his gear), and it works fine. I have not so far had any problems with the clips that some reviewers comment on, and the basic structure of the tube and handle seems sturdy enough and works just fine for picking up golf balls. For me, I'd rather save the money right now and get some use out of this bag. I know the zipper will fail at some point, and I probably would spend for the original article next time, but meanwhile, I've learned something about how much I will actually use a shag bag for much less dough. So I'd say this is an adequate product if you just understand its limitations. If you are rough on gear or if you use a shag bag for hours every day, by all means, go for the real thing. But if you're budget-conscious or just getting into the game, why not save yourself $30 or $40? (Hey, that's a round or two of golf!)
Dump 'em, hit 'em, shag 'em--the key to a better golf game

This bag has been attached at my side every day I go to the practice range. It has helped my game tremendously as I can practice a shot 60 times before I have to go retrieve balls.

Pros:
-The large capacity allows you to be able to practice many shots before having to go shag balls
-The zippered compartment is fantastic so you can just keep the bag in your trunk and keep it loaded up
-The balls easily slide into the opening at the end of the bag and do not fall out

Cons:
-The metal "teeth" at the end of the bag seem like they may give out in time, but i have been using the bag a lot and they have not been worn out yet

Overall, for the price of this bag, it is well worth it. It feels great and strong and it holds plenty of balls. You will definitely see great improvement with your game if you add this product to your practice gear.
Already broken

The metal ring above the zipper is already broken. I hung the InTech Shag Bag from my golf club bag with only 10 balls inside and the white little strip of cloth that hold the ring in place ripped. Seems like it's made from very cheap material, not durable at all. Will more than likely return this item next week.
