I really love the Romy sneaker. This was my second pair. I was happy to find it in gray. The wide size 7 is perfect and so comfy. But, within the first 20 days the stitching came undone at the ball of the foot where the shoes creases from wear, even tho I only wore them 3 times. I exchanged for another pair so hopefully that was an anomaly. My first pair in white lasted a long time, but also bulges at the same wear point, but did not pull the seam loose. Thus the 4 star for a weak point in design.

I've had trouble finding shoes that look good and fit well. These are wonderful as they do both. I have women's size12 and have hammer toes as well as plantar fasciitis. Before finding these I could only find a couple styles that fit but only came in white. I am so thrilled with these gray ones. Will definitely order again.

Great shoes for style, fit and quality, but there is an issue with slippery soles when wet. If you are "of an age" be careful. I wore the shoes for walks etc, shopping for a couple of weeks before we had rain; all was well. Then we had a good soaker, and after sloshing across the Walmart parking lot and entering the store, I slipped several times once inside the store (the floor was dry, but the bottom of the shoe remained slippery. It's like there is a spot on the ball of the foot, between the treads (which certainly appear adequate--its the spot between the treads that is slick, I believe. I have also slipped on my own kitchen floor several times after walking outside on wet leaves, etc. My first pair of Easy Spirit sneakers were totally reliable in this respect. Now, I will only wear in dry weather. If I hadn't worn them for two weeks I would have returned them.

This shoe is just as I hoped it would be. I wear an 8 1/2 medium with my right foot trying to become a 9. I also use arch support inserts. These shoes fit great. I had no problems removing the insole an replacing it with my inserts. I would definitely buy again if I needed such a shoe.

I have relied on Easy Spirit shoes for a long time, but my feet have changed with advancing age (As the saying goes: Getting old isn't for sissies. Years of wearing high heals at work, I have bunions and my right foot is smaller than my left. I tried to compensate by ordering a larger size, but am sad to say that these had to go back. It had taken a very long time for delivery from Florida (not Amazon!) and colder weather here in central Texas,
