Great deal for the price

You get what you pay for.

This is my first rice that was not generic long grain rice. I followed the directions and the result was a really good pan of rice. I think I will use chicken broth in place of the water next time to add some flavor.

I bought this product because It tastes great and makes a nice change from basmati rich or pasta or couscous.

I have been purchasing this exact product in my local supermarket, but Amazon will be about 50 cents a pack cheaper by the dozen. In any case, this is the best rice I have ever tasted. The secret to proper preparation, by the way, is to follow the directions on the package precisely. It's not the same as boiling potatoes. The timing is critical. But the end result is superb. Finally, any leftover rice freezes very well. Tonight's supper was meatballs in paprika sauce over thawed Vigo arborio rice. The rice still had that wonderful al dente texture.
