Works fine, but the 12v socket is a bit on the loose side. Items plugged into it wiggle loose and have to be plugged back in occasionally. Might just be the cooler and chargers I've used, your experience may vary.

Use this for my Coleman cooler. This product is better than the original product that came with the Coleman cooler highly recommended very durable. the original power adapter that came with Coleman cooler broke the first time I dropped it. This one I've dropped it many times and even cracked the case and it still works great product!

Worked out great on a nice vacation a hot and cold traveling cooler.

Finally got around to connecting this to a 25watt uhf amp. A cigarette lighter plug came with the amp but it was really bad quality, that was my initial reason for this purchase. I cut the plug socket off and installed a pair of anderson power poles, I was checking polarity but forgot to unplug the power supply. Yep, I short circuited it. Just a tiny spark. I left it alone for a while and then re-plugged it, it's still working! I guess this supply has short circuit protection and I'm not out some bucks!

This is an excellent unit and has been more helpful than I expected it to be. Plug into regular 110/120v electric and you have a cigarette lighter plug ready to accept your 12v 'toys'. I bought it for my boat house so I could plug in floating fishing light from my boat when I just want to fish from the dock - and it's great for that. When I got a new sonar/char plotter unit I attached a cigarette lighter adapter to the power wires on it and was able to explore the unit's mapping facility in detail and do some of the settings so it will be ready to go when it's in the boat. Also was able to easily update the software on the unit. It is handy anytime you want to try out a new 12v device without having to go and hook it up in a car or boat. I was surprised at the economical price on this unit, too. This seems to be a good, solid unit that should hold up well over time.
