NAILED IT!! BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!!
Becky•December 29, 2017
This was the hit of Christmas present time for all three of my grandchildren (ages 7, 5 and 3), despite them getting many other and more expensive gifts!! All day long they put together all kinds of different horn shapes and then played their inventions, which kept them entertained most of the day. The holes in some of the pieces are even more genius so they can actually play different notes. It was supposed to be for the 3-year-old but his older sisters were soon begging him for a turn!
I absolutely love this toy

I absolutely love this toy. My son got one as a gift for his third birthday, and it was a hit with both him and my one-year-old. I immediately bought one for my friend's 3-year-old for his birthday, and it was the most played with gift at the party.
It is cute, colorful, and easy to assemble and disassemble. It even makes different noises based on how you put it together. This will now be my go-to gift for 1-4 year olds!

But kids love it!

Bought this for our 2 year old granddaughter who loves music! Her 4 yr. old brother, the builder, instantly began putting it together and playing it. 2 yr old now builds it herself and plays it so much her dad had to put it away awhile to give their ears a break. It can be loud! But kids love it!
Love the multi-funcional use, but some parts fit loosely

I purchased this for my twin toddlers to use as a multi-functional educational toy. Odd, but we really like this toy for everything but making a saxophone out of. I was originally going to purchase an auditory feedback phone for one of my twins who was regressing with their speech and word use. The plastic phones are used to hear your own voice and practice pronunciation, but they cost around $8 for one. I saw this toy and realized I could make multiple colorful versions of something similar and have a building toy/instrument for them to play with for only a few more dollars. I was able to make 3 individual "phones" for them out of this set and they work as I intended. They love hearing their own voice through the tubes and make longer tubes to talk lightly into each others ears or sing into. It's especially effective for them to learn to say hard sounds better. This has helped motivate her to start practicing words again and helps build vocal muscles through the use of the whistle and making noises through the tubes. They build fun little sculptures out of them and I tried getting them to play with it like a saxophone, however as other reviews have stated, it flops around and falls apart because some of the pieces fit too loosely together. Because we love playing with these and are happy that the plastic is durable and made in Italy, I give it 4 stars, but took one away for the loose fitting parts.
Fun to build & play instrument!

This Saxoflute is such a cute & fun toddler toy. I bought it for my 2yo son for Xmas last year, and it has been a great success. He loves putting the pieces together in all kinds of crazy ways. And then he has fun making all kinds of different sounds and music with his "new instrument" that he's created. My preschooler also has enjoyed playing with the Saxoflute. It's like having your own wacky instrument from a Dr Seuss book. The pieces are definitely well-made and sturdy; it has been able to withstand some pretty rough playtime by my little ones. And the packaged box is a good size to store and keep pieces all together. Arrived quickly and just as expected. I would definitely recommend this Saxoflute as a great toy that will promote imaginative and creative play.
