Holds furniture to the wall when I pull on it and doesn't fall over. The cable and ends of nuts can stick out above the top surface of the furniture though, but it's easily pushed down.

Great product that I bought for a giant 8ft armoire for it would not fall on a child. Make sure you get it to stud and this product is solid..made in USA to boot!

I ordered 2 products to ac as a safety strap on 170 LB Bookcase, without anything on it. Thought I would compare both products, and choose superior product. This product was best. Very thick steel cable covered by clear plastic covering. Clips and screws, very strong. Thought my needs to act as safety strap on this 78 inch high, 60 inch wide heavy bookcase, would be met by this product. Highly recommend.
Great for securing furniture. Instructions could be clearer.

Works great. Very secure. Only thing is the directions are not clear on the distance required between the wall mounted and furniture mounted bracket. I wound up mounting them too close together, pinning the brackets together. It's best to leave 3.5" between the brackets so you can move it a little in case you need access to an outlet or to disconnect the steel cable.

Simple design, seems very well made and looks like it is strong. But you have to drill holes in your furniture, and the relative sizes of the brackets limit how close a bookcase (etc.) can be placed to the wall. I bought this and the same company's velcro strap at the same time, installed two sets of each, and prefer the velcro strap system.
