I have always used the silver bowls and one would think these gold bowls would be the same. No way. These are thinner than a piece of paper and look to be extremely brittle. Opening the package I found the top 6 bowls shattered. This is not the result of mishandling as the bottom bowls would have been damaged. Obviously damaged in manufacturing. The old bowls could be folded in half and they wouldn't even split. Bend these and they shatter like a light bulb. Can't imagine holding anything liquid or heavy. Some hotshot cost saving in China again.

Very flimsy plastic bowl. Not good if you want to it to hold chili or soup, but good for a party to hold pretzels or candy on a table. This royal blue does not match the Amscan products and the color is not as bold as I would have liked. Good for the price

These are a good size, definitely just as large as any other bowl. They're quite sturdy in regards to weight, heat, and cold. They've held up to heavier fruit salads, spaghetti, cereal, oatmeal, soup, yogurt, stew.... etc. I bought them to dispose of them after use but they also wash up quite well if you want to re use them.
