Love these. Started what I'm sure will catch on across the USA and probably become an olympic event. Going to call it "Office Curling" Just find a good chair and office mate, mark off a section on the carpet and let the games begin. Also drag races using leaf blowers as engines. Oh well now that I've lost my job, I`ll have much time to perfect the uses of this product.
Soft screws break easily!

The sticky pads came right off with first use of chairs. Even with pre-drilling holes the screws are soft and the head easily strips! The screws also break off destroying your chair! I have solid oak chairs and two of these have broke off leaving a sharp piece of screw still in chair!!! We will have to try and file down or the chair can't be used without putting holes in the floor! Very unhappy!

If you are looking for sliders or glides to protect your laminate floor from your wooden chair legs while making it easier to slide the chair across the floor, get these. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they may be just a tad too slick. But that's much better than not being able to glide a all or scratching up your floor. Since they're not felt, they won't be picking up the annoying pet hair and fibers and since they're not adhesive, they won't be slipping off any time soon. I'm glad I bought them.

I purchased these for some counter-stools after installing a set on dining chairs. Like the chair sliders, these are slick, though they seem more 'scratchy' than the previous set - not that they're scratching the floor. They slide with a little more sound & resistance on the same flooring but I think that can be attributed to the counter-stools being heavier than the dining chairs. When I installed the dining set the screws that came with the package were soft & broke easily. I ended up getting similar size screws from a hardware store for only cents. This time the screws seemed to fasten with less breakage.
The larger brown shell screws into the bottom of the chair leg. The lighter colored cap then just snaps into the shell. It seems like they could come apart easily but once the chair puts weight on them they stay assembled just fine.

I have bamboo flooring and these have left tons of little scratches all over them leaving a whitish looking area where the chairs get pulled in and out. Will try to take pictures later that show it but really unhappy with these.
