Easy to install and run well so far. Only company is that it comes on a little slower than I would like. I notice it when the lights get bright out of nowhere. The plug is set for a 20 am outlet requiring an adapter to get it plugged in.

I replaced the the Parallax charger that came with my fifth wheel with the 80 amp Progressive Dynamics charger and after a year in service the Progressive has turned out to be far more superior.
The Parallax had one charging mode and would boil over the batteries and cause them to die prematurely. The Progressive has multiple charge modes and is a "smart charger" that never boils the batteries and actually maintains the batteries.
The Progressive throws 80 amps D/C at full charge at the batteries so they charge a lot faster than the Parallax could ever do.
As you can see in the pictures I installed the Progressive close to the batteries with 2 ga wire for maximum charging with minimum loss from charger to batteries. I also added a 20 amp A/C breaker to my panel with a dedicated plug to the charger. The pictured voltage meter shows me the state of the batteries as well as what the charger is doing when it is on.

Lots of power for our RV

Our original power converter lasted less than two years in our new RV (it was made by a different company). We read great things about this brand, and the "glowing" review were true. I installed this new converter without any trouble at all. Simply move all wiring from the old unit and install in the same way on this new unit. It is working great. We did opt to use a more powerful converter. This new unit is an 80 amp (replacing a 65 amp old unit). This unit also comes with a small manual control and monitor. You will probably never need to use the manual settings, but seeing the flashing light on the monitor (flashes slow to fast, depending on load) is reassuring of how much work the unit is having to do. We have a very large RV and this new unit has been working great. Lots of power and no "gray-outs" like the other brand.
