Skirt deformities easy to fix
pasquale•July 26, 2018
I bought a bunch of these when they were cheap here at Amazon, and I've been happy with them (considering the price). Yes, the skirts are often deformed, but this is trivially fixable. I use a 1/4" male to 1/8" female audio jack converter https://www.amazon.com/Devinal-Professional-Headphone-Converter-Connector/dp/B074S5K8BB/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1532834071&sr=1-3&keywords=audio+jack+converter. Put the pellet point down on a hard surface (desk), place the "pointy" end of the jack converter in the skirt and whack it firmly but not too hard (I use a golf ball to do the whacking). Like a miracle the skirt will deform back to what it's supposed to be like. 5 or 6 test whacks and you'll have a good feel for how hard to whack. Seriously deformed skirts may require partial "re-forming" with a ball-point before undergoing the converter treatment. My tests indicate minimal if any effect on accuracy at 5 yards. If you over-whack the skirts they will swage back down to spec during chambering. The pellets are truly soft. (I don't have a longer range available for testing.)
Good. Prefer packaged in metal cans.

These are good running through Crossman rifles and pistol but there are a large number out of the box that are deformed and won't fit into the rotary speedloaders or "fire" properly out of the speedloaders. I prefer these packaged in metal cans or similar Crossman packaged in paperboard box.
Poor quality, many misshapen
Lew Barr•June 30, 2017
I have been using Daisy flat-nosed .177 pellets for several years, formerly purchased in a round tin and made in China. They were no longer available locally so I ordered this package online, shown as being made in the USA. Unlike the previous product, these have rough and thickened edges and a significant number are misshapen. They are worthless to me and I have placed another order for a different brand. The attached picture shows them after being transferred from their rectangular container into an empty round container.
Great quality, not a single dud in the box
notsoNEWKINDLEUSER•April 9, 2017
Not a dud in the box, all were decent and fired without fail.....what I've come to expect from the Daisy brand since I was a kid.
Really great pellets at the $2.99 Add-On price.

These are great pellets and a fantastic deal when sold at the $2.99 add-on price. I found them to be consistent, well-made and accurate enough for plinking with various air rifles or pistols or silhouette shooting w/ my .177 Alfa Proj target pistol.
