We have a yellow butter boy that we have had for years. It gets us through corn on the cob season with clean fingers. After seeing that butter boy was a big hit with our grandkids, we decided to get them one. Not quite sure why he decided to go green, but he is the same great butter boy, nevertheless.

these are so much easier than a knife BUT I wish someone would remeasure the size of a stick of butter/margarine. I have yet to find one that fits without having to trim the sides a bit. Still a popular "side" when eating corn and so many people have never seen one before so it makes a nice gift (Hence my purchase of several)

The design is a little cheesy (ha) but this thing is fabulous. I first got one as a gift, and I've given them as little gifts. We love corn on the cob - I guess we are sort of fanatics - and this is the best way to put the butter on. Apparently butter sticks come in different sizes in different parts of the country, but I'm from Massachusetts and these work great. You put in about a half stick of butter. I'm back on this site to buy anoter one for a friend.
