I too got 12000 miles out of my rear tire it was obviously getting pretty flat and squared off but it still rode great in a down pour and in hot and humid summer weather. I'm just now replacing my front at 19000 miles, sure I could have replace sooner, but wanted to finish last season on that tire, it was vibrating pretty good those last 2000 miles, my hands will thank me this season.
