Make sure you tighten the brake stopper in front or it may come off and trip you up and put you in pain for a couple of weeks like it did for me. Don't know why they would send the loose. Otherwise they are okay skates.

I just received my skates today. I ordered a size 11, and they shipped a size 9. Somehow, and I don't know how, they fit. They are snug, but they fit and I can guarantee, I cannot wear a 9. Heck, I can't wear a 10. So don't know if they are in mens sizes even though it says womens, and then they adjust? Right now I'm just sitting in them as they are pretty snug. Not sure if I should keep or return at this point.
Worth it if you're willing to put some extra work into them

After getting fed up with dealing with the rental skates at my local roller rink, I bought these skates after doing some research. I wound up having to buy a size 7, and my usual size 8s were huge on me.
I've had these skates for a few months now, and only recently got around to replacing the original wheels and bearings. The quality difference this made was night and day. I thought my awkward skating in these skates were just due to my trying to "break them in", but it's more likely that the wheels/bearings that come with the skates are just plain crummy. The boot itself is great, and if you can find the right size, is quite comfy too. One nice little thing is that these skates come with a tool to adjust the wheels and trucks; it's a little bonus that I appreciated!
If you're willing to put the extra work into these skates and buy different wheels and bearings, these skates are a joy on the rink!

I bought this for my daughter, and she learned very fast on these skates. The leather was worn out pretty quickly and same with the toe stop. But my daughter enjoys skating in these skates even though it gets dirty quick.

I love these skates. I am 63 and have always loved skating, so I bought my first pair. I intend to take my grandkids skating and hope they will love it also. I am not a speed or stunt skater, just a little above average and these are perfect fro my needs. I wear a 7 USA shoe in most tennis shoes. I first ordered a size 6 as the reviews said they ran so big. Size 6 was too small. I sent them back and got a 7. I put an nice memory foam insert and wear thick socks so no blisters. Very comfy and I am skating on adult night in our area skating rink every week. Smooth ride. Great excercise and the grandkids are going on Sat for some great grandma time.
