Bought a couple different brands of bike seats for my three year old to try on my bike and kept this one. Love it! It was hard to find one that would work on a cruiser bike frame, but this was perfect (as it uses the handle bar area to attach). Son is an average sized three year old, and he fits great. He loves the "steering wheel" although he likes to hold onto my handle-bars. Really liked this and would recommend.

Bought this bike seat after trying out a back mounted Bell Seat first (which after 3/4 of the way installing, realized it wouldn't fit my bike). This thing is a cinch to attach (5 minutes, maybe) and baby (12 months) had the best time. I feel that it is very secure and comfortable for my little one. It was a little tight for me to sit on my seat but nothing I can't handle. I do like having her in front and accessible to me. Would definitely recommend this seat!

I researched and researched and looked and looked at all the different options for a bike seat for our two-year-old. There are so many out there.... And ultimately, we settled on the iBert for these reasons:

-- It's front-mounted, which means your child will be able to see everything, as well as YOU being able to see and check on them, and actually talk to them and hear them. We find this to be a HUGE plus. If he was on the back of the bike, we'd be turning around a lot, and that is just not safe.

-- Also the fact that it's front-mounted means they're closer to your center of gravity on the bike, which makes not only for an easier ride for you, but a safer one.

-- They're closer to you, making for a more fun and more connected ride. You get to experience things along with your child, rather than asking after you both get off the bike, "Did you see that duck fly by?"

-- Very, very, very, very -- did I mention VERY? -- easy to install!

-- Really easy to move from one bike to another. Like ridiculously easy.

-- Quite lightweight!

-- GREAT price, in comparison to the other bike seats that came anywhere near the safety and use recommendations that I was comfortable with.

Two things I was concerned about before purchasing:

-- The weight limit. It's lower than other bike seats, at 38 pounds. Well, I decided to just get the darn thing and see how it goes. The good news is at 2 years of age, my son is only 28 pounds. We have at least a couple, if not a few, more years of riding with this thing. At that point we will re-assess -- and will have gotten a ton of great usage out of this thing, and he will likely be ready for a different mode of bike transport anyway.

-- That little steering wheel that is optional. I totally thought I wanted one. I didn't buy it, thinking we'd wait and see how it went with just the seat. Well, lo and behold, what they don't tell you (and they SHOULD) is that this seller includes the steering wheel! Woohoo! Making the overall cost even better.

In short: get this seat. You and your child will love it.
