Ideally you'd buy a bandsaw with bearings supporting the blade, but if you didn't, you need to make the best of the situation you have. Enter cool blocks; they let you put the supports closer to the blade resulting in better cuts that you had before. Plus they are quieter and run cooler than the metal blocks your saw came with. It's an easy upgrade and very cheap compared to upgrading to a new saw.
