ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•March 2, 2018
This is absolutely terrible. Doesn't even deserve one star. There are no peanuts in the brittle and it just tastes like pure sugar mixed with card board. This brittle was concrete, and was missing a main ingredient!! PEANUTS. LEARN HOW TO MAKE SOME PEANUT BRITTLE FOR GOD SAKE. I'd rather eat 3 year old Halloween candy, that was in the bottom of my closet, unwrapped. I'm never spending my money on this horrific so called "peanut brittle" again. Peanut brittle is not so simple like the description says. It's a craftsmanship. I am terrified for anyone who plans on ordering from this brand...

Talk about 'bait and switch' - this item is ridiculous. The ad touts Old Dominion Peanut Brittle as well as a clear square-like package. What arrived is a 'bag', yep, just a common bag that wasn't even properly sealed with the name Sweet Gourment.com big, front and center. Only when I got to looking at all of the label's did I finally find a reference to Old Dominion.
At first, I thought perhaps I had placed my order wrong - nope, just another bait n switch.
As for the product. Goodness, These 5-star ratings must have gotten an entirely different product than I did. The ad proudly states how thin this brittle is and a generous helping of peanuts. Nope - neither was true. First, my bag contained nothing short of broken bits and pieces. As of this writing, I have not found a piece as large as a 50-cent piece. Peanuts - ha, I have found the ratio of pieces to be 5 with no peanuts to 1 piece that has a few. Thin ... not even close. For peanut brittle, usually, the peanuts ride above the brittle itself - not completely and totally encased. This is far from thin - thick like a Hershey bar. Taste ... well, if the chalk-like residue and look is an indicator, then you get the idea. Just save your money.

Like others say, no peanuts. I used to be able to get something like this is a near by supermarket and it was great. This is just ok. Not worth the price.
Very disappointed with quality

Very disappointed with quality. I am a loyal customer, I've ordered several times. At first the brittle arrived in plastic bags, there was extreme breakage, by the time it arrived it was in tiny pieces, brittle dust.
I love "˜Old Dominion's Peanut Brittle", so I gave you a second chance, same thing arrived. I hoped by now you would get the hint about your shipping. So, I ordered again, this time at least it was in a plastic container, still a lot of breakage but better.
My most recent order arrived today, we are back to square 1! So frustrated another $15 down the drain!
