This is what I think - anytime I see some rust under or above on my jeep.... I'm going to give it a shot of the rust treatment... I had a battery leak and the leak caused the paint on the metal to be eaten away... I gave it a quick sand then spayed on the rust treatment and where there was rust - it turned black- I let it dry and then I followed up with some matching paint... looks great... it looks under control - but only time will tell.

Just brush it on and give it time to cure. The label says its not recommended for automotive use so keep that in mind. The liquid is a bit on the thick side. If you're thinking about putting this in a spray bottle.....not gonna happen. At any rate the stuff does what it says it'll do. You can't really ask for much more than that.
