We could not believe the taste of these Enjoy Life Crunchy Vanilla Honey Graham Cookies. We have been ordering Enjoy Life Products for a long time, and for the most part, we have been pleased with their products. When we're in a pinch for time, we use this brand because it has usually been better than average. However, these cookies were NOT anything like what we expected from this company. Being in 4-H for 12 years, I've been baking 60+ years. I know what baking soda tastes like, and I know when either way too much baking soda has been put into the batter or the baking soda has not been thoroughly incorporated (mixed) into the batter. I can't say "definitely" what occurred with these cookies because I wasn't there, but I have no doubt, that it was one scenario or the other. We had a specific need for a case, 6 boxes, of the Crunchy Vanilla Honey Graham Cookies. We had not purchased a box locally to make a "taste test" and I don't even know that would have been of help in this situation, as a box purchased locally could have been up to the usual standard of this company, and tasted absolutely fine. I hope, rather than a recipe issue, where for some reason this company has decided to add way too much baking soda to their recipe, giving the cookie a "baking soda" taste, it is a manufacturing issue, where the baking soda was not dispersed well throughout the batter. Since this is a crunchy cookie, the need for a "large" amount of baking soda, which for non-bakers causes your product to rise, would not make any sense. At any rate, our 6 boxes of cookies could not be used for our intended purpose. Needless to say, the case of 6 boxes of Enjoy Life Crunchy Vanilla Honey Graham Cookies, has been deleted from our Subscribe & Save Order. We will not be taking a chance on these cookies again. We will go with a tried and true choice from the Enjoy Life brand.

I bought 6 packs of the soft baked chocolate chip cookies. Each box measures about 8 x 4.5 x 2 inches. Each box contains 12 cookies. Each cookie measures about 2 x 2 x 0.5 inches.

Cookies are one of the reasons why going vegan has been impossible for me, as I've been unsuccessful in baking them myself. So when I found these cookies here, I was ecstatic. I mean, just look at the ingredients! They are free of wheat, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, fish, shellfish, casein, potato, sesame, sulfites, and many more making these not only vegan but also gluten-free, kosher, and halal.

Some things I want to highlight about these cookies:
- These cookies are full and filling. Not sure if this is a rice flour thing, but I felt like I ate a whole box of regular cookies eating just a few of these.
- These cookies are kind of cakey and chalky, yet moist. Not sure if this is a no egg or dairy thing, I personally don't like them like this but the moisture, which most comparable vegan and gluten-free cookies lack, makes them tolerable.
- There is a subtle, slightly stale cookie taste. I don't think the cookies are stale, but I believe one of these "healthy" ingredients, maybe rice flour, generates this taste. Again, this taste is subtle and I immediately got used to it.

I also didn't realize until now the expiration date is very close. I purchased these cookies in August 9, and the expiration date marks October 28... meaning I need to finish them in 2 months... totally doable but I would have preferred to keep them a little longer.

These are probably too pricey for my budget but I got them anyway. I'm not disappointed. So far, I've just tried the snickerdoodles and double chocolate brownie from the variety pack. They were delicious, soft, and almost melted in my mouth. I would have never known they were made without wheat or dairy. None of the cookies in this box were damaged either. I'm definitely going to buy again and try out all the flavors! It's so wonderful to have a treat that I can safely eat. Also, no weird after taste like I got with Lucy's hard cookies. I highly recommend!

These are extremely delicious! Every flavor is good. They are the perfect treat for my gluten, dairy and soy free diet. My favorite is the nice spicy gingerbread. These are soft cookies that remind me of the tops of muffins by their shape. They are about the size of a golf ball. Two cookies of any flavor are 120 calories. They didn't leave me feeling bloated like a snack containing gluten would and they're wonderful dipped in tea. I got the variety bundle. There are 12 cookies in each box.

I ordered 6 boxes of cookies so I can finally eat a dessert that won't hurt my new baby through breast feeding. She has a soy allergy. However, after searching the grocery isles, I was excited to discover that there are some cookies that do not contain soy in any form, and almost impossible to find nondairy cookies. Thank you for making a great product. I ordered and waited for my shipment of Enjoy Life chocolate Crunchy Cookies double chocolate crunchy cookies; however, every box contained smashed cookies and crumbs, in fairness, a few cookies stayed intact. However what an embarrassment to bring a box to a party and them find all crumbs. My husband has tried every food that I can eat and these are by far the best cookies on the market for dairy and soy free people. I cannot even return the boxes b/c one was opened at the party, I also opened the remaining 5 boxes when I got home only to find the same results. I've included a picture w/all 6 boxes. It's not worth buying through Amazon. What a waist since this is a great product and a company that seems to take pride in their products. I know so many other moms/babies/families who could benefit from a company that makes great good tasting products for restricted diets. It's a shame that Amazon's delivery methods could ruin a good brand. Box says "dairy free, nut free, soy free." Beware you may receive cookie free, but free crumbs. I have written to the company giving them the lot numbers (all the same). There is always the chance that these were a bad batch. Try them if you haven't b/c they taste great, just don't be too disappointed if you get crumbs.
