It was bought to be used as a stand for making a palm tree for a tropical "Shipwrecked" theme for our church's kids' VBS. It was the perfect size to hold a long cardboard fishing tube that will be made into a tree and placed in the stand to decorate the classroom. The 3 screws holding the tube are sturdy and easy to set where needed. Also, it was a clever idea to place clips inside the container to hold the 3 screws when not using the stand so you never lose the screws that go with it.

Not stable. Perhaps my tree was too tall - -a 5 foot noble fir, very slender. There was no way it was going to h old my tree without tipping over. Most likely my mistake. I went back to the old standard metal stand with four extended legs for stability.

Received this item in two days even though it wasn't Prime. Nice solid base for a small to medium tree with hefty plastic screws to hold the tree in place. Exactly what I wanted!

Perfect, just what I needed for my 3-1/2' tall tree with a 2" diameter trunk, but the screws can go even a little smaller than that. I found the plastic screws to be plenty sturdy enough for my lightweight tree.
