Not perfect, but it does the job!

I bought his item to speed up the process for cutting lattice strips for my miniature peach cobblers, I couldn't be happier! No, it's not perfect, but it does what I need it to do. The strips do tend to stick together a little bit, but as long as I place enough flour on the surface before I start cutting it's not that big of an issue and the strips maintain their structural integrity. It comes apart for quick and easy clean up (just make sure you don't accidentally drop the pin that holds the rollers down the sink!).

Well, it just works. I use it to make a sort of chopped salad, to reduce the size of leafy greens. The only down side is that the leafy greens sometimes get "stuck", but it's really no big problem. I love being able to take it to pieces, pop it into the dishwasher, and, voila, ready for the next job.

The reason I bought this was to finely chop canned cat food. My cat generally eats pates, but also very much likes the gravy on other foods with bits/shreds/flakes. I tried putting those foods in a food processor but he won't eat it. Also, just mashing with a fork doesn't work. I end up chopping the food with a fork or using a knife to get the pieces as small as possible. He will then eat more. although not all, of the food along with the gravy.
This mincer works great. I can very quickly roll it back and forth over the food to get it down to a size that will ensure he eats more of the food instead of just licking the gravy. Still doesn't eat all but at least now is eating much more.
