High Quality Snails

These are high quality. Made Escargot De Bourgogne and the family was into it. Not everyone likes snails and I would have to say that those people have no taste. Enjoy!
And they were spot on - great for making traditional French dishes at home

I never thought I would order snails in a can, but every chef I spoke to suggested these for homemade escargot! And they were spot on - great for making traditional French dishes at home.
Great value.

I live in Michigan...and finding snails here is virtually impossible! It's nice to have a good and reliable source where I can buy these and at a really great price. I know there is a lot of comments here about where these come from, but they are as good as any I have bought in Europe.
Love them but wow its more than twice the price it was back in Dec 2015.

Love these escargot. They are big and tasty. I make them with garlic herb butter sauce and my friends all love it. This is the third time I bought them in the last 4 years but I just noticed that its now more than twice the price that I last bought them back in Dec.2015 Wow. They don't come with an expiration date but they do come with a packaging date. To decipher the code on the package, there is an alphabet followed by 4 digits. The alphabet is the year, month, day. A=2000, B=2001, C=2002, etc., first two digits is the month, 01=Jan, 02=Feb, 03=Mar., the last two digits is the day. Ex. P0407= 2015, April, 07.
Truly a gourmet delight!

These escargot are of high quality, tender & delicious! Simply rinse them well in a colander to remove any possible sand. Sauté them in some white wine for several minutes for added richness of flavor, (though this is not required), then place them in snail shells or baking dish surrounded by blobs of garlic butter (REAL butter, parsley, pressed garlic, and finely-diced green onions) and bake at 375 to 400 degrees for about 10 - 15 minutes or until the butter is bubbling.
