I used this for a fairly thick faux brick wallpaper on heavily textured (circa 1950s plaster wavy walls) and although it was a pain to slather it on with a brush and it did seem pretty messy, it worked amazingly. There is a warning that CA legislature requires on the label that it may contain cancer-causing ingredients, but I used latex gloves to apply AND it's dried behind paper on a wall, so I'm not too worried about it considering everything seems to cause cancer these days.

This was super easy to use, was strong enough to hold up a thick/ heavy National Geographic Executive World Map Mural (~6x9', in three wallpaper strips). It was easy to reposition the wallpaper panels to align the map as needed. But the panels did not slide/ move on their own once they even slightly touched the wall. I had plastic below where I was applying the paste to the panels, and cleaned it up between each panel (though I probably didn't need to... but to reduce paste on the front of the paper), and it was so easy to clean up - from the paste-ing area, the wall, the map. I definitely recommend this. Oh! And it's made to be used with a roller.. but I used an old, beat up paint brush and it did the job just fine - plenty of adhesion, and totally smooth wallpaper once installed.

Very happy with this product. Went on super smooth with great grip, but gave me time to work with the paper on the wall. I hadn't done any wallpapering in years; used this with Anaglypta that I was planning to paint.

A dream tool for a beginner , 10 times better than the one you can get from the local warehouse ,have a very big sticky power,and he can be thined it down with water if I need,I am a first timer for wallpaper and did a great job with this,bought some other brand in Home Depot and compared,nothing to this!
