Great for a TV without a headphone jack.

Came quickly and plugged into our HDTV's "audio out" sockets so we could use headphones with the tv again. The great thing is that we can still adjust the TV volume separately from the headphone volume with the in-line volume control we bought for the headphones too!

Just what the doctor ordered to install a headphone jack to an older TV without one. Adapted the RCA jacks to a stereo headphones line with no issues. TV menu lets the normal speakers to be turned off, Volume still controlled by TV remote to headphones and everybody is happy. Sleepers have quite and headphone wearer has complete control of volume. Win-Win

i used this to connect my bose speakers to an old sony bravia tv to get the audio to work. you plug the bose cord into the single black end, and the red and white ends into the audio output jacks and BAM you're done!! thank you! my boyfriend told me we couldn't use my bose companion speakers with his old TV. i love it when i'm right ;)

Put this on the back of my BD player, then plugged in an extension cable, and a pair of headphones. (My setup sends sound direct to my soundbar via optical, so I have a second extension cable connected to the TV, for listening to video from all other sources.) Anyhow, works great.
