rain fly included!
US4November 19, 2017
Used this many time this fire season. It is an easy setup even in the dark. It has room lefter over head to toe and I am 6'3". Late in the year when it got cold at night condensation would build inside. I tried many configurations and the one that worked best was rolling up all the sides and then putting the rain fly on. I then hung a battery powered fan over one end at the rainfly vent and let it blow all night. This worked the best in keeping the condensation to a minimum. I used a thin inflatable pad for comfort and got a good night's sleep.
Great substitute for a tent
TMSJanuary 15, 2017
Follow the directions on how to set this up and you can set it up in a few minutes. For only one person camping, it is a fantastic substitute for a full tent. My sleeping bag fits perfectly inside.

I first saw this at a state fair where the 4-H folk used them to stay with their livestock. I love the concept of sleeping off the ground. It is roomy enough for one person and the rain fly can go on very quickly, although I haven't had to use it. With the vents closed for privacy, it is roomy enough to change cloths. Even folded down, it is pretty big, so it is not really meant for the back seat of a car. It does fold down thin and is sturdy enough to place your other camping equipment on top.
This tent cot is a breeze to set up and is actually comfortable to lay in

A novel idea executed very well. This tent cot is a breeze to set up and is actually comfortable to lay in, provided you put an extra sleeping pad inside.
The tent portion of this set up is quite roomy for the person of average height and build. I am 6' 170 pounds and I could move around comfortably inside.
I bought this "used-like new" and it complete, in the box and packaged as though someone had just opened the top of the box, peered in, taped it shut again and returned it.
All in all, for the price that I paid ($114 with FREE shipping), this was a great deal on a great product.
Awesome Product!

The best camping purchase I have made in 2 decades! Highly recommend this product. Slept like a baby and didn't even use an added pad that some reviews state to purchase. I will use this product every time I go camping or on a road trip. It is a little bulky / heavy, which can be improved, but still an awesome product. I'll write another review in a year or so to let ya'll know how it holds up under rigorous conditions. Mine came with the rain fly, which I definitely needed, so make sure you read if it does. Could this product be improved, yes, however it does a fantastic job the way it is. It is spacious and very comfortable. I'm 6 foot & 190 lbs, had plenty of room. I have many improvement ideas for this product & would be honored to work with Kamp-Rite to improved this already Awesome product, I'm an engineer by trade. I believe you will be very satisfied with this product. Enjoy the great outdoors!
It was very comfortable and very easy to set up

Just came back from using my new Tent Cot. It was very comfortable and very easy to set up. I'm 5' 10" and I had plenty of room to stretch. Even enough room at the foot for my clothes bag and a few other items. I also used a self inflating sleeping mat which made it more comfortable. In the past I would get hip pain when sleeping on the ground even though I used my 3.5 inch REI sleep pad. It fits nicely in the tent cot and my hips had no pain. When I ordered the Tent Cot I thought the rainfly and the carry case were extra (which I added to the order.) When I received the box it contained a rainfly and a carry bag. But the carry bag was too small (looks like it might fit the "smaller" tent cot. Any way I have an "extra" rainfly. As you can see from the picture I "modified" the rainfly zippered flap. By making it a "canopy" it made getting in and out much easier. If Kamp-Rite would modify the rainfly flaps to be a bit higher, add grommets and two poles I would have rated it 5 stars. The cot fit nicely into the larger carry bag. It is a bit bulky but it fit fine in the back of my truck bed. It would also fit fine in a car trunk (unless you have a very small car). It did not rain so I can't testify to the effectiveness of the rainfly. So far I am happy with my purchase. Durability is yet to be determined but that takes use and time.
