I gave two stars because: First, the winder breaks very easily, not even 2 hours after we received it. Toysmith, you should make this by metal instead of cheap plastic. Second, my 5-yo loves it so much. He can concentrate and place them one by one. I've never seen him so focus playing with any toy. I just wish the spinner is stronger than the current one.

Lots of fun, for a wide range of ages. Honestly I bought these for myself (37 years old) but my 5 year old niece also loves them. It's fun to create challenges (like stacking them on a spoon and walking around with it, stacking in different size order, etc) Great for hand eye coordination as well

I recently purchased your Super Stacking Tops set from Amazon after my grandchildren saw them on Baby Einstein. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews reporting the failure of the trigger device, but assumed we could just treat it carefully. However, two of the three tabs on the trigger were broken after just a couple of hours of playtime, and we were very careful not to over tighten the tops for just that reason. The kids really enjoyed playing with the tops, but I'm not buying another set just to get another trigger. I guess I would buy a couple of triggers if they're not too expensive, or even just the bottom portion of the trigger, if that would be possible. I'd suggest a redesign to make the winding mechanism stronger, or a less brittle material for the trigger. Please let me know if I can get some additional triggers.

My husband is still trying to get all 5 stacked up. We saw it on baby Einstein and we both remember having this toy as a child and happy to bring it back to our kids. We consistently get 4 but that 5th one is near impossible. Haha. If it were easy and he got it the first try there would be no need to keep trying and the toy wouldn't be as much fun!

Update: Only lasts a week or two. Gkid is Autistic and plays a lot with them though. Plastic winder wears out where it makes contact with top. On the plus side , excellent customer service. Winder was replaced at no cost. Would gladly pay trice as much if constructed better.
