This fan works great. It is very quiet. It does rattle a little bit on high, but if I adjust the flange on the stove that it is mounted to, it stops. I think that is more of a stove part issue rather than the fan issue. Would definitely recommend.

This aftermarket replacement blower replaced a noisy/screechy OEM blower on my 8 year old Quadra-Fire stove. The fan is so quiet I do not hear it working and sometimes have to get right up on stove to make sure it is working. Install was easy. Only additions to install was used new, longer screws so that I could add a lockwasher, 2 rubber washers and a nylon fender washer to complete deaden/isolate any sound from the fan unit.
Delivery was much faster than promised which was quite welcome. This blower assy is much better than OEM unit so far.

This blower was an excellent purchase for the price. It is as quiet as it can be and at times I have to shut it off to keep from getting the house over-heated. Before installing the fan we had to build a hot fire to get the house warm (1,500 sq ft) but the blower gets one half of the house warm as soon as the stove heats up. And with the assistance of a small wall mounted fan in the hallway the rest of the house is as comfortable as the living area. Of course we'll see how many years of service this economical fan will provide.

We use a pedestal fan behind the stove mainly. The only reason I didn't buy one of these last year is because I didn't research it enough to know there were aftermarket fans at half the price. It isn't whisper quiet but it doesn't interrupt TV or conversation. It does move a good amount of air. 3 easy screws on the back of our Isle Royale and plug it in.
