It does what it's supposed to do and the price is reasonable. Like other reviews, it does come covered in protectant oil, so wear gloves. The protectant keeps it from rusting. Not a problem just an observation. It's slow to lift... more chain pulling than lifting... but that's just the physics of how hoists gearing works.

I am not thrilled with the product, it is cheaply made, the chain sprockets inside gear box are tin made not cast steel, poor construction.
