First gun I received, I put the male fitting in the end and the aluminum actually broke. I'm a contractor and own roughly 15 or 16 nail guns, and this has never happened to me before. But I messaged the seller and they had a new one on my doorstep 2 days later. Haven't had any issues with the second one.
Give up the hammer - GET this. Your wrist and hands will thank you if you are a weekend warrior.

As we get older, weekend do it yourself building - barns, sheds, wood sheds, etc. THIS gun makes using joist hangers and other strap hangers so much easier. We gave up on the hammer years ago for these, using palm nailers instead. THIS is the way to go. Made the job of joist work so much quicker and more tolerable.

Works great for joist hangers as long as you don't get the double shear style. Those require longer nails that this model will not shoot. The low nail lockout is a good feature. I don't think I've had a jamb with this tool, though I've shot less than a box of nails.

This is a great quality strap nailer! If you are only shooting the 1 1/2" strap nails this gun is the way to go! If you find the need for the longer strap nails the hitachi gun is superior for sure! But for its cheaper value, this gun is worth every penny!
