Best blister prevention tape ever
sks1979✓ Verified Purchase•June 27, 2018
This tape is absolutely the best blister-prevention tape on Earth, the Galaxy, the Universe, and everywhere else too. I've turned on half a dozen hikers and climbers to this tape as *the* alternative to duct tape and moleskin (somebody think of all those poor moles that had to be skinned!) for preventing blisters on known hot spots. Put this on at the start of a hike or run before you have any foot problems.
The three magical properties that make this tape work really well for preventing blisters:
1. It's very thin and does not interfere with the fit of your socks or boots; it does not create another pressure point -- unless you let the edge roll up, see comment below.
2. Sock fabric slides over it without sticking even when your feet get sweaty - the same reason duct tape works, but unlike duct tape, this breathes and doesn't leave sticky goo when it's removed
3. The adhesive is very effective on skin. It doesn't seem to stick very well when you first put it on, but after the tape has been on skin for a few minutes the adhesive seems to set. After that, it will stay on even if your feet get wet. I have forgotten to remove the tape after a long hike, taken a shower, and found the tape still firmly stuck to my heels the next morning. It doesn't irritate my skin but if you are sensitive, try a skin prep.
Be careful to avoid rolling up the corners of the tape when you put your socks on, it'll create a hot spot that might give you a blister instead of preventing one. I clip the corners with scissors to make them less likely to snag.

I'm allergic to darn near everything under the sun, including several types of adhesives! I purchased this, at the recommendation of my dermatologist. I can't even use band-aids without swelling up and breaking out into hives! I'm not sure what the difference is between band-aid and cover-roll adhesives, but it works! Thank you!!
Terrible reaction.

After two days, it burns my skin and I have to remove it. I thought it was hyper allergenic. Shortly thereafter, my arms, scalp were burning too. What is in the adhesive? I bought 3 rolls. If I return them, will you charge me? I needs an under roll that is for hypersensitive skin, the elderly, infants. I use the LeucoTape which works fine.
Please, let me know since I need it for my knees since my patella is not tracking!!!!!!!

best "sport tape" I ever have!

This is the best "sport tape" I ever have! By chance I once used them as sport tape for volleyball fingers. Traditional sports tape are very thick, and once wet, such as by sweat, they all peeled off. In short they wont last long and I'm annoyed having to retape over and over again. Then I found these tape, cut them into smaller pieces for my finger wrapping. OMG, it's soooo good. it's stretchy, provide support yet allow flexibility for movement I needed, it NEVER peel off when wet. I'm sure they work wonder over injury, for me who use them at least 4 days a week, they work wonder for my game play!
Best tape for dressings, Large or Small. Long lasting, CONFORMABLE!

Excellent product. Easy on the skin, yet holds great. Available in 2in, 4", 6" and 8". I use them all for wound care. Suggest using Ferndale Laboratories Detachol Adhesive Remover to help remove the dressing on thin or sensitive skin, geriatrics and children. Highly recommended. Why use multiple, overlapping layers of adhesive (tape) when you can use one piece?
