The clarity in which you can view the inner ear is great compared to some other otoscope's I've used at home. Both my son and husband have problems w/wax build up and frequent infections. This is a great help in determining if I need to just flush the ears, or call the doc for an infection. In my personal opinion, this is as good as the Welch Allyn we use in the clinic.
Some reviews complain about the disposable speculums falling off. I have not had this issue. In addition, if you clean the speculum according to the directions, there is no need to purchase/use disposable.

It's great! Very comfortable in my hand, not too heavy but definitely not flimsy. I am replacing a professional model that was lost in a move and this one truly meets my needs. The different size speculums that come with it are really all that most people would need. I am delighted with this product. If I could give it 6 stars I would!

This's works as well as the otoscope I use in the ER. Friends and family always come to me to look in their ears. Cheap plastic one served me well until it burned out. This one is much nicer and works great.

I'm very satisfied with this product! It provides a very bright light along with a magnifier that more than sufficiently allows me to see the eardrums of my 7-year old granddaughter, as well as my wife's. Fantastic tool for the money. As a former paramedic, I would be very comfortable carrying this device as a tool on my truck.
